William Edgar "Bud" Anderson of Farmington passed away at his home on Sunday, February 7, 2010, at the age of 81 years, 6 months, and 26 days. He was born July 12, 1928, at Graniteville, son of the late Gerald and Ethel (Sands) Anderson. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Gerald and Robert Anderson.
Bud grew up in the St. Louis area before coming to Farmington. In 1954 he married the love of his life, Jeanette Kludas in St. Louis. He worked as a roofing contractor for many years in the St. Louis area. He enjoyed his home and working around the yard but most of all enjoyed playing with his grandkids.
In addition to his wife, Jeanette, he is survived by three sons, William David Anderson, James Michael Anderson and his wife Jayne, and Steven Charles Anderson and his wife Donett all of Farmington; six grandchildren, Jennifer (Mrs. Ryan) Gillespie, Josh Anderson, Ben Anderson, Jon Anderson, Beth Anderson and Tessa Anderson and great-grandaughter, Ava Gillespie. Also surviving are a host of nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 10, 2010. Visitation will resume on Thursday at 7 a.m. until the service beginning at 11 a.m. at the Cozean Chapel with the Reverend Terry Turner officiating.
