Alma "Louise" Hancock

Alma "Louise" Hancock passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2009, at Presbyterian Manor, at the age of 87 years, 3 months, and 28 days. She was born June 13, 1922, in St. Francois County, the daughter of the late Emory and Lavinia (Hawthorne) Tucker. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Howard M. Hancock. Louise is survived by three daughters, Janet (Mrs. Frank) Nicholson, Peggy Lucas and Barbara Sue (Mrs. Richard) Dattoli; a son, Terry Hancock and wife, Diane; a sister, Lucille Fisher; and numerous grandchildren. Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 13, 2009. Visitation will resume Wednesday at 7 a.m. until the time of the funeral beginning at 1 p.m. at the Cozean Chapel. Interment will follow at Libertyville Christian Cemetery.
