Charles 'Chuck' Bloodworth

FARMINGTON - Charles Leonard "Chuck" Bloodworth of Farmington passed away December 6, 2023 at his home at the age of 61. He was born in Anna, Illinois to the late Harold Dean Bloodworth, Sr. and Clara Elizabeth (Hawthorn) Bloodworth. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Leroy Bloodworth and his mother and father-in-law, William Luce and Jewell Davis. Chuck grew up in New Holland, Illinois and moved with his family to Farmington during his senior year in high school. He graduated from Farmington High School in 1980. In 1985, Chuck met the love of his life, Tammy Luce at Cozean Funeral Home. They married in 1988 at Pine Log Baptist Church in Coffman. He wore many hats in his career. During his adult life he worked as a carpenter, welder, mechanic, electrician, plumber, roofer, heavy equipment operator and truck driver. He prided himself in teaching his co-workers the "Chuck way". A strong willed and determined man, Chuck enjoyed fishing, hunting and traveling. He liked to go places but only if Tammy could go along. Survivors include the love of his life, Tammy; his children, Latisha Hall of Cape Girardeau, Jeremy Rutherford of Kansas City, Missouri and Gregory Jamison of the home; brothers, Junior, Donald and Carl Bloodworth and sister, Glenda Crinkley. Also surviving are many grandchildren; one great grandchild; nieces, nephews and extended family. There will be a visitation at Cozean Memorial Chapel on Monday, December 11, 2023 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Memorials, if desired, may be made to the American Cancer Society.
