Jeffrey Reed White

FARMINGTON Jeffrey Reed White, of Farmington, passed away March 12, 2016 at Mercy Jefferson Hospital in Festus. He was born March 17, 1955 to Chester White and Evelyn (Turley) White.

Jeff graduated from high school in Greenville, Missouri in 1973. He went on to attend college at Mineral Area College. He spent many years working in the auto parts industry and had been an instructor at Unitec for more than twenty years. He enjoyed a hobby of restoring and selling classic vehicles. An avid outdoorsman, Jeff liked to hunt, fish, camp, work the land and ride his Harley. A person who never met a stranger, he will be most remembered by his family as laid back and easy going who would help anyone who needed it.

Survivors in addition to his parents, include his wife of forty years, Pamela Sue (Street) White; two daughters, Tracy White and Samatha White; a half sister, Gayle McGee; and a host of extended family, former and present students and many good friends.

Friends and family may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 from 5 8 p.m. A memorial dinner will be held prior to the visitation at UniTec Career Center in Bonne Terre from 12 noon to 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Shriner's Hospital.
