Listen to Obituary

Abbey De’Anne Storie, 46, passed away on May 9, 2026, in Springfield, Missouri. She was born on February 4, 1980, in Dallas, Texas.

Abbey was preceded in death by her daddy, Charles Wayne Bradley, formerly of Granite City, Illinois; her son, Charles “Charliebear” Ferra; her older sister, Sherrie Le’Anne Bradley; her brother-in-law, Tim Bockhorst; both sets of grandparents; and her maternal aunt, Paula Russell.

She is survived by her daughter, Starr Ferra of Scott City, and her true love and husband, Wayne Storie of Farmington. She is also survived by her mother and stepfather, Patricia and Terry Pettus of Farmington; her stepmom, Cathy (Marvin) Wolfe of Granite City, Illinois; and her former stepfather, Richard Tripp.

Abbey leaves behind two sisters, Amber (Garrett) Bockhorst Seabaugh of Cape Girardeau and Missy Bradley of Farmington; her stepsiblings, Sandy Vaughn, Corey Molina, Sarah Dement, and Darrin Pettus; two nieces, Baylee Alsup and Brylee Bockhorst; and five nephews, Brody Bradley, Greyson (Clover) Bockhorst, and Mason, Otto, and Ozzy Honerkamp of Park Hills. She is also survived by many great-nieces and nephews, along with more “adopted babies” than one could count, all of whom loved her beyond measure.

Abbey was an avid animal lover, a huge fan of The Nightmare Before Christmas, and enjoyed anything involving arts and crafts. More than anything, she loved laughing and making memories with the people she loved most.
