Alvin Halley

Alvin Lee Halley was born July 3, 1935, in Mitchell, Missouri to the late Jon Franklin Halley and Myrtle Pettus Halley. He passed away September 24, 2026, at his home in Bellevue, Nebraska.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Glenda (Beard) Halley; his daughters Cynthia Halley and Mary Chrostowski; a grandson Jason Chrostowski; his son-in-law Robert Gosse; sisters Lucille Duckett, Nina Saffell, and Dorothy Rogers; and his brother Alan Halley.

Survivors include his daughters, Deborah Halley and Pamela Gosse; grandsons Alex Gosse and Robbie Gosse; granddaughter Kelly Rice; son-in-law Jerry Chrostowski; sister Ruby House; five great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Alvin spent 31 years in the U.S. Air Force, retiring as a Chief Master Sergeant in August,1985.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Cozean Memorial Chapel beginning at 10 a.m. followed by a service at 11 a.m. in the Cozean Chapel. Interment will follow at Parkview Cemetery in Farmington. Share your memories and condolences at cozeanfuneralhome.com.
