Anjanette "AJ" Kathleen DeGonia

Anjanette "AJ" Kathleen DeGonia, of Bonne Terre, passed away unexpectedly at her home on October 21, 2025, at the age of 48. She was born on March 12, 1977, in Farmington, Missouri, to Robert and Janet (Barron) Williams.

AJ is survived by her loving father, Robert Williams of Farmington; her devoted husband, Michael DeGonia of Bonne Terre; and her children: Morgan (Tylor) Brewer of Park Hills, Dakota (James Stephens) Smith of Knoxville, TN, Montana Mills of Las Vegas, NV, and Maddisyn Mills of Farmington.

She also leaves behind her siblings: Tracy Gonz of Farmington, Robin (Steve) Steele of Fredericktown, and Erica McDaniel of Farmington; along with numerous extended family members and dear friends who will miss her greatly.

She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Janet Williams; her cherished niece, Gwendolyn McDaniel; and her son-in-law, Randy Gonz.

AJ attended Farmington High School, where she was proud to be a cheerleader. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and coloring. Above all, she had a kind heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand to others.

A visitation will be held on Monday, October 27, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:00 p.m. at Cozean Memorial Chapel. Memorial donations, if desired, may be made to St. Louis Children’s Foundation, P.O. Box 955423, St. Louis, MO 63195-5423.
