April Sue Farmer, of Doe Run, entered eternal rest on September 8, 2026, at Barnes Jewish Hospital at the age of 58. She was born in San Bernardino, California, to the late John and Donna (Peters) Branum.

April is survived by her son, Jonathan Branum; her nephews, John Wayne Branum III and Mathew Ray Branum; her niece, Amanda Jo Bostick; as well as extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.

In addition to her parents, April was preceded in death by her husband, Alan Farmer, and her brother, John Wayne Branum III.

April worked for many years as a front desk clerk at Crown Pointe Lodge and Tradition Inn. She had a caring heart and a special love for animals, especially her beloved dogs. Her compassion extended to rescuing and caring for squirrels whenever the opportunity arose. In her spare time, April enjoyed crocheting, gardening, listening to country music, and watching Yellowstone. She also had a deep love for the ocean and treasured the peace and beauty she found there.

April will be fondly remembered for the things she loved, the life she shared with those around her, and the memories she leaves behind for her family and friends to cherish.
