Barbara K. Hayes, of Farmington, passed away on March 17, 2026, at Barnes Jewish Hospital, surrounded by her loved ones, at the age of 67. She was born on July 30, 1958, in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late William and Lois (Friend) DeBeaux.

Barbara is survived by her loving children, Deborah Barlow (Alex), Gary Hayes Jr., and Jason Hayes. She also leaves behind her siblings, Linda DeBeaux, Mike DeBeaux, Bill DeBeaux (Marie), Chris Varady (Dana), Steve DeBeaux, Sarah Patterson, Jeremy DeBeaux (Sara), and Bobby DeBeaux (Mika), along with her cherished grandchildren, Matthew, Allan, Dustun, Emilee, and Mackenzie, who brought her great joy. She is further survived by Gary Hayes, Sr., as well as many extended family members and dear friends who will forever treasure her memory.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Franklin Hayes; and her siblings, Robert LaRue DeBeaux and Deborah Bushong.

Barbara was a dedicated homemaker who devoted her life to caring for her children and creating a loving home. She enjoyed thrifting, loved Christmas, and loved playing Happy Acres on Facebook. Most of all, she cherished spending time with her family.

Barbara will be remembered for her love of family and the special moments they shared together. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
