Brian Keith Pogue, of Farmington, passed away on February 22, 2026, at his home at the age of 58. He was born in Rolla, Missouri on April 16, 1967, to Jerry Gale Pogue and Mary Doretta (Schram) Pogue, who survive.
Brian graduated from Hamilton High School in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He went on to the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in criminology. In his younger years, Brian was active in scouting and enjoyed growing up around lakes. He was a member of the Baptist faith and was a true believer.
Brian retired after sixteen years from the Department of Corrections as a case worker at the Farmington facility.
He was always enamored with flight and had his pilot’s license, enjoying both flying and being around planes. Everyone who knew him will remember his wonderful cooking skills and how he loved to fix big breakfasts. Throughout his life, he always loved to fish.
Survivors include his loving wife of 21 years, Cindy (Woods) Pogue; a brother, Brad (Gwen) Pogue; a sister, Stephanie (Victor) Graves; numerous nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Angie (Ed) Politte; and two special great nieces whom Brian enjoyed doting on, Anna-Lisa and Madison Woods.
There will be a celebration of life event at a later date to celebrate Brian’s life. Share your memories and condolences at cozeanfuneralhome.com.
