BELLEVIEW- Charles Acey Moore, Jr. of Belleview passed away on May 5, 2025, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson at the age of 64. He was born on August 4, 1960, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Charles Acey Moore, Sr. and Velma Wanda (Smith) Moore.
Charles is survived by his mother, Velma “Wanda” Moore; his children, Christina (Patrick) Nicolle, Brandy (William) Valdreau, and Yvette (Cody Dean) Moore; his grandchildren, Julia, Danelle, Andre, Sarah Lea, Providence, Jedidiah, Abigail, Liberty, Justice, Tilque, Levi, Tristen, Aiden, Nicoli, Luke and Kohen; his siblings, Sue Black, Jeff (Carina) Moore, and Victor (Angie) Moore; his nieces and nephews, Jeffrey, Jennifer, Jenelle, Wyatt, and Brody; and his aunt, Barbara Adams. He is also survived by several cousins and special friends.
Charles was preceded in death by his father, Charles Acey Moore, Sr.; his paternal grandparents, Acey and Birdean Moore; his maternal grandparents, Edward Smith and Hazel Martin; his uncles, Melvin Moore, Gilbert Moore, Harold Smith, Tom Adams, and Jerry Parmeley; his aunts, Lucille Ivey and Jean Flowers; and his cousin, Groundhog Usher.
Charles enjoyed fishing, working on cars, and spending time at cookouts with family and friends. He enjoyed a cold Natural Light and was always ready to help others.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 10:00 a.m at Cozean Memorial Chapel. Charles will be laid to rest at the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Bismarck. Memorial donations, if desired, may be made to the Ronald McDonald House, 4321 Chouteau Ave., St. Louis, MO 63110.
