On January 20, 2026, Christine Ann Herrington passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at her husband’s side after almost 30 years of marriage. Her and Geoffrey Herrington had built a loving and faithful home in Farmington, Missouri ever since they wed on June 1, 1996, and raised two children, Marissa Sifford and Braden Herrington. She was also the eldest sister of Stacy Childers-Teeple and the late Harold “Jimmy” Childers Jr. and born to Karen Childers and the late Harold Childers on January 7, 1965.
She was well loved for the care and compassion she brought to others, both in her career in medicine and in her own home and was always found in her gardens if not spending time with her family. At any time, she would practice her faith and devotion by actively speaking and praying to God, for not just her family, but also for others who she wanted to help and care for deeply.
Even in life she was devoted to anything and anyone she cared for. She graduated with a Master’s degree in medicine to eventually become a Nurse Practitioner, attended numerous classes to receive her Master Gardener Certificate, and spent most of her life raising and nurturing her two children with her husband. For most of her life, her priorities were serving God and family dutifully and being there to take care of others through kindness and practiced hands.
For the rest of eternity, she will be in the arms of Christ and her favorite Aunt, Sherry Camden. She will be missed and loved dearly by those who she called “home”, and the many she helped.
