Christopher Andrews Rainey

FRENCH VILLAGE, MO - Christopher Rainey of French Village passed away on March 23, 2023 at his home at the age of 64. He was born in St. Louis on January 16, 1959 to the late Milton L. Rainey and Evelyn V. (Chandler) Rainey. Christopher grew up in the St. Louis area where he attended Hancock School in Lemay. For most of his life he worked as a Tree Trimmer until more recently when he went to work as a fork lift operator. He enjoyed living at Goose Creek Lake and working on his GMC Jimmy. Christopher never met a stranger and made many friends throughout his life. His family will remember all the stories he told about racing cars back in the good old days. He was the ultimate Blues Hockey fan who was proud to have seen them win the Stanley Cup. Survivors include his son, Chad (Linda) Rainey; four grandchildren, Konner, Skyler, Madeline and Ryder Rainey; and a sister, Jean Schulte. He is also survived by his dog, Max and his turtle, Barney.
