Clarence "Lumpy" William Wilson

FARMINGTON – Clarence “Lumpy” W. Wilson entered into eternal rest on March 31, 2026, at his home at the age of 68. He was born September 17, 1957, in St. Louis to the late Clarence and Norma Ruth (Moss) Wilson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Danny Haney, Jr.; two brothers, Roger Wilson and Joey Wilson and one granddaughter, Madison Haney.

Clarence was a faithful member of Genevieve Baptist Church for 35 years where he had served as Sunday School Superintendent and Trustee. He had also been the caretaker for the church cemetery for many years.

In 2006, Clarence retired from the Flat River Glass Factory where he worked as a bottle maker for 35 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, floating, camping and serving his Lord, Jesus Christ. He was bold in telling anyone he ran into about Jesus Christ.

Survivors include his loving wife of 40 years, Sherry (Kennedy) Wilson; his three children, Christina (Chris) Tolbert, William (Chrissy) Wilson and Corey (Shana) Haney; seven grandchildren, Hannah Fowler, Tim Moore, Katelynn Moore, Harrison Haney, Christian Haney, Chevelle Haney and Emma Wilson; two great grandchildren, Everleigh Haney and Evan Haney; three sisters, Debbie Sanders, Nancy Freeman and Joyce Morgan; a brother, Robert Wilson; a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held at Cozean Memorial Chapel on Monday, April 6, 2026, from 5 to 8 p.m. Visitation will resume on Tuesday beginning at 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral at 11 a.m. in the Cozean Chapel with Pastor Fred Killian officiating.
