Cynthia 'Cindy' Marie Porter

FARMINGTON Cynthia "Cindy" Marie Porter of Farmington passed away in her home on June 21, 2020 at the age of 63. She was born on January 21, 1957 in St. Louis to the late Harry and Virginia (Niemeyer) Hearty. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles King, her brothers, Mike Hearty, Steve Hearty and Joe Hearty and her brother in laws, Pat Whitman and Bob Weeks. Cindy is survived by her husband, Terry Porter, her daughters, Pamela (Larry) Hargiss of Farmington and Kim (Matt) Duncan of Farmington, stepchildren, Chad Thornburgh of Troy and Meaghan (Christopher) Lorenz of St Charles County, her grandchildren, Baylee, Austin, Caleb, Christopher, Tyler, Breanna, Hope, Tanner, Amelia, and Jacob, her great grandchildren, Colton, Wyatt, Haven, Waylon and Grayson, her sisters, Pat (Richard) Fieser of Waterloo, IL, Diane Whitman of Manassas, VA, and Mary Weekes of Dupo, IL, her two special dogs, Pride and Bella along with many nieces, nephews and friends. Cindy worked at the Farmington Senior Center. She was passionate about her volunteer work at Camp Penuel and was proud of her strong Catholic faith. She enjoyed St. Louis Cardinal baseball and the St. Louis Blues, was an avid book reader and loved spending time with her family. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 28 at 2:00pm at Camp Penuel, 10451 MO 72, Ironton.
