FARMINGTON - Dale LaVon Mull of Farmington entered into eternal rest on June 24, 2025, at his residence at the age of 87. He was born on August 28, 1937, in Bonne Terre, Missouri, to the late Walter E. Mull and Nellie Eunice (Weible) Mull.
Dale is survived by his devoted wife of 24 years, Zella Mull; his daughter, Jean and husband Refugio; his son, Jeff and wife Marsha Mull; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife and the mother of his children, Rose Mull; his sons, James Dale Mull and Steven Dale Mull; three brothers; and two sisters.
Dale proudly served in the United States Army before working for many years as an aircraft painter at McDonnell Douglas. He then began a 35-year career at Trans World Airlines (TWA), where he served as an instrument mechanic. He was known for his strong work ethic, precision, and pride in his craft.
A man of deep faith, Dale was of the Baptist faith and maintained an extensive collection of Bible study books at home. He enjoyed collecting old coins, reading books about airplanes, and traveling. In his younger years, he loved hunting, fishing, and archery.
A private graveside service will be held at Three Rivers Cemetery in Farmington. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Heart and Soul Hospice, 412 Cayce St, Farmington, MO 63640. Share your memories and condolences at cozeanfuneralhome.com.
