Debbie Fitzgerald

FREDERICKTOWN - Debbie Fitzgerald, of Fredericktown, entered enteral rest on November 20, 2024, at her residence in Fredericktown, Missouri, at the age of 65. She was born on February 5, 1959, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late John Scott and Pauline (Briggs) Scott.

Her loss is deeply felt by her loving husband, James Fitzgerald Sr.; her children, Irvetta Nielsen, James (Dana) Fitzgerald Jr., David Nielsen, Johanna (David) Goldade, and Sheanna McGuire. Debbie's legacy continues through her thirteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, who will carry forward her spirit of generosity and love. She is survived by her sisters, Wanda (Mike) Briggs and Donna (Bill) Hodge, and a host of beloved nieces and nephews, and friends who will miss her dearly.

Debbie was preceded in death by her brother, John Lee Scott; her sister, Becky Scott; and her nephew, Jarod Scott.

Debbie worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for numerous years, providing compassionate care to those in need. Later, she transitioned to a career as a truck driver, navigating the roads and connecting with people across the country. Her passion for life shone through her hobbies, which included avid reading, coloring on her phone, and gardening. Her memory will be forever treasured, and her joy for life will continue to inspire all who knew her.
