Delores Ellen Mcleod

Delores Ellen McLeod of Farmington passed away on June 4, 2006 at Presbyterian Manor at the age of 86 years. She was born on January 30, 1920, at Desloge, the daughter of the late Henry and Sadie (Lindsey) Jennings. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Henry Ed McLeod, brother, John P. Jennings, two sisters, Anna McLeod and La Verne Danback and step-son, Charles McLeod. Mrs. McLeod worked for many years as an LPN at Mineral Area Regional Medical Center. She enjoyed being a nurse and loved to share her experiences. She always had a beautiful flower garden. She was talented at crocheting and doing many types of crafts. She is survived by brother, James (Edna) Jennings of Doe Run, sisters, Letha (J. A.) Bird of Las Vegas, NV, Virginia Harwood of Sheridan, IN, Jeannette Colona of St. Louis and Jane Leonberger of Farmington. Special nieces, nephews, other relatives and cherished friends also survive. Friends may call at the Cozean Memorial Chapel from 4:30 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, June 7, 2006. Visitation will resume at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at the Cozean Chapel at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. James Lacey officiating. Burial will follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens.
