Dennis Ray Hull, of Bridgeton, Missouri, entered eternal rest on April 8, 2026, at his residence at the age of 74. He was born on April 26, 1951, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, to the late Vernon H. Hull and Olive D. (Haynes) Hull.
Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Latisha (Reddick) Hull. He is also survived by numerous cousins, extended family members, and special friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Dennis “Bo” Michael Hull; his brother, Vernon “Jr.” Hull; and his sister, Carol Slane.
Dennis deeply loved his brother Jr. and his sister Carol. He also had a special devotion to his mother, Olive, whom he lovingly cared for in his home during the last ten years of her life. Over the years, he also grew very close to his stepfather, John Baker, and maintained a strong bond with his father, taking vacations to Nevada to visit him and his stepmother. He held a special place in his heart for his extended family, including his uncle and aunt, Stanley and Betty, and their daughter, Deb.
Dennis dedicated 34 years of his career as a warehouse manager at Anheuser-Busch in St. Louis.
Dennis loved his son more than life itself and faithfully attended his baseball games from the time Bo was eight years old through his years playing Legion baseball. Dennis had a lifelong love of bowling, beginning at the age of 14. After the loss of his son, it was his dear friend William who encouraged him to return to the sport he loved. He also cherished his Canadian fishing trips with his brother, creating memories that would last a lifetime.
He was blessed with many meaningful friendships. His dear friend Peggy Knoll spent countless hours with Dennis, sitting together each day watching their favorite recorded shows. She also brought him his favorite breakfast every morning—a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit from McDonald’s. His neighbor and friend Susan Nelson visited several evenings each week, sharing time watching old westerns and occasionally baking chocolate chip cookies with pecans.
Many months ago, Dennis shared with his cousin, Deb Rehkop, his wish that she would play the piano and sing at his funeral—a wish that will be lovingly honored.
A visitation will be held at Cozean Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow the funeral service at Zolman Cemetery. Memorial donations, if desired, may be made to the Humane Society, 1201 Macklind Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63110. Share your memories and condolences at cozeanfuneralhome.com.
