Destiny Marie Womble

BONNE TERRE – Destiny Marie Womble, age 27 passed away at Barnes Jewish Hospital on June 10, 2026. She was born in Farmington on May 23, 1999, to Sandra Craig and the late Delbert Womble. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandfather, Ronnie Craig and a brother, Nick Orrick.

Destiny grew up in Arcadia Valley where she attended school. Her chosen career was working in home health care, which was a good fit for her caring and nurturing nature. She had a place in her heart for dogs and over time had rescued many. She had many passions in life, some of which were fishing, road trips, barbequing on the grill and family card game nights. Additionally, she was always up for a good road trip, and she was known for her silly pranks that she played on others. Her son, Remington, was the light of her life. She loved to play with him more than anything.

Destiny will be most remembered for loving her family hard and unconditionally.

She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her, including her wife, Summer Brinkley; her son, Remington Womble; her mother, Sandra Craig; grandmother, Alma Reed; step grandfather, Sam Lassiter; siblings, Heaven Woods, Katie Wood (Justin Orrick) Cheyenne McKenney, Sasha Woods and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

There will be a memorial gathering at Cozean Memorial Chapel on Saturday, June 20, 2026, beginning at 11 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 1 p.m. with Pastor Sam Lassiter, II officiating.
