Donald Gene Tessereau

Donald Gene Tessereau, of San Diego, California and formerly of Farmington, passed away, May 27, 2014 at the age of 85 years. Don was born April 23, 1929 at Esther, Missouri, son of the late Heber and Stella (Nations) Tessereau. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Wann and three brothers, Billy Bob Tessereau, Delmar Curtis Tessereau and Herbert Louis Tessereau. Donald proudly served his country in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean War. He retired from General Dynamics Corporation and Kyocera International, Inc., both of San Diego, California. Don was a fifty year member of San Diego Masonic Lodge No. 35, the San Diego Scottish Rite and Al Bahr Shrine International of San Diego. Survivors include his former wife, Justina Q. Tessereau of San Diego, sister-in-laws, Letha M. Tessereau of San Diego and Diana Tessereau of Chesterfield, Missouri; four sisters, Patsy Vincent and Barbara Hemenway, both of Balwin, Missouri; Judy Denneson of Maple Plain, MN and Janet Sue Folkerts of Cumming, GA; and numerous other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 14 at 10 a.m. in the Cozean Memorial Chapel followed by interment at Libertyville Christian Cemetery.
