Donna Jean Vandiver, of Farmington, entered eternal rest on August 24, 2026, at Parkland Health Center at the age of 79. She was born on August 31, 1946, to the late Clarence and Esther (Farley) Shumate.

Donna is survived by her son, Jeff Vandiver and his wife, Crystal; her grandchildren, Blake Vandiver and Macey Barnhouse and her husband, Preston; her great-grandsons, Shepherd Barnhouse; and Everett Barnhouse, whose arrival is eagerly awaited in the coming weeks; her brother, Ronnie Shumate and his wife, Karen. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, and many special friends who will forever cherish her memory.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Shumate.

Donna devoted her life to caring for her home and family as a homemaker. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening and expressing her creativity through painting ceramics. Above all, she treasured the time spent with those she loved and the many special memories they created together throughout the years.
