Dorothy “Dottie” May Fouts, of Farmington, entered eternal rest on February 6, 2026, at Farmington Presbyterian Manor, at the age of 74. She was born on September 24, 1951, in Farmington, Missouri, to the late Thomas Huff and Doris (Pulliam) Leach.
Dottie is survived by her children, Henry Joe Williams, Stephanie Koppeis (Rick), and Lacey Currington (Todd); her grandchildren, Kathleen Koppeis, Michael Koppeis, J.T. Currington (Brittany), Janie Currington, and Kyle Currington; and her great-grandchildren, Belken Weddle, Braxton Currington, Aaron Currington, Scarlett Currington, Axel Nations, and Avery Nations. She is also survived by her siblings, Ruth Huff-Berry, Helen Murphy, John Huff, Clara Rector, and Donna Woodfin, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Dottie was preceded in death by her brothers, Harold Huff and Darrell Huff; her sister, Christine Leach; and her stepbrother, Tracey Leach.
Dottie was a homemaker and took great pride in caring for her family and home. She was a devoted member of the First Free Will Baptist Church in Farmington, where her faith and love for her church family were an important part of her life.
Dottie enjoyed watching baseball, especially the St. Louis Cardinals, and she loved Elvis Presley. She also enjoyed fishing, playing cards with her sisters, and spending time doing anything that involved her church and her family. Her warmth, love, and strong devotion to those she cared for will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.
A visitation will be held at Cozean Memorial Chapel on Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. officiated by Reverend Roger Hogan. Dottie will be laid to rest at Pleasant Hill United Baptist Church Cemetery following the funeral service. Memorial donations, if desired, may be made to the Blood Cancer United, P.O.
