Edward “Ed” Miller, 60, of Farmington, entered eternal rest on February 22, 2026, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson.
He was born on December 28, 1965, in East Orange, New Jersey, to Edward Matthew Miller Sr. and Virginia (Morrone) Miller.
Ed is survived by his father, Edward (Karen) Miller Sr. of Town and Country; his loving wife of 30 years, Lisa (Ladymon) Miller; his daughters, Megan Miller and Melissa Miller, both of Farmington; his sisters, Mary Miller of Manchester and Sharon Linden of Ballwin; his niece, Michaela Linden of Ballwin; his mother- and father-in-law, Jerry and Carol Ladymon of Farmington; along with many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Miller.
Ed dedicated more than 20 years of service to the City of Farmington, most recently with the Farmington Street Department, where locals affectionately knew him as the “street sweeper.” He was a proud member of Elks Lodge #1765 of Farmington and the National Rifle Association.
A devoted sports fan, Ed enthusiastically supported the St. Louis Blues and the St. Louis Cardinals. He enjoyed collecting baseball cards, watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy!, talking politics, socializing with his buddies at the shop, and was rarely seen without his trademark “bibs.” Ed will be fondly remembered and dearly missed.
A visitation will be held on Friday, February 27, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Cozean Memorial Chapel. A service for family and close friends will follow at 6:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that a tree be planted in Ed’s memory through the funeral home’s website.
