Emogene "Jean" Mae Haynes

Emogene (Jean) Mae Smith Haynes passed away at Barnes-Jewish Hospital on Tuesday, December 12, 2006 at the age of 80 years and 25 days. She was born on November 17, 1926 in Farmington, the daughter of the late Cecil D. and Adeline (Griffin) Smith. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Cochran and her beloved dog, Peco, Grandmas Baby. She is survived by two daughters, Terrie Hennessy of New Douglas, IL, and Paula Huff of Caseyville, IL, a son, Rick Haynes of Farmington, a son-in-law, Dennis Cochran of Farmington, seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5 to 9 p.m. on Friday, December 15, 2006. Visitation will resume at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday. A funeral service will be held at the Cozean Chapel on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. with Dr. Rick Broadway officiating. Burial will follow at Parkview Cemetery.
