Frankie Mae Williams-Williss of Farmington passed away on February 28, 2026, at Parkland Health Center at the age of 75. She was born on June 23, 1950, in Elvins, Missouri, to the late Frank and Berniece (Umfleet) Powell.
Frankie is survived by her loving children, Crystal Lewis (Glenn), Reggie Williams (Julie), Hank Williams (Amy), and Jesse Williams (Cassandra). She was a proud and devoted grandmother to fourteen grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense joy and pride. She is also survived by her brother, Billy Powell (Brenda), along with many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Gary Powell, Michael Powell, and Robert Powell; and her sister, Nancy Powell-Harris.
Frankie enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially tending to her flowers and watching the birds that gathered nearby. She had a creative side and enjoyed painting and drawing, often spending quiet time working on her projects. She liked shopping and getting out of the house, and she especially enjoyed treating herself to ice cream and cheeseburgers, two of her favorite simple pleasures. In her younger years, she played baseball and later took the time to teach her sons how to play, passing along both the fundamentals of the game and the enjoyment she found in it. She valued time spent with her family and especially treasured her role as a grandmother.
