Fritzie F. Will, 76, of Farmington, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 25, 2025. She was born at home in Doe Run, Missouri, on January 25, 1949, to the late Fredrick and Florence M. (Gibson) Zimmerman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her father and mother-in- law, Anton and Bettie Will; many first cousins, and brother and sister-in-law, Don and Carol Will.
Fritzie attended Doe Run school through the 11th grade and went on to Farmington High School where she graduated with the class of 1967. She married the love of her life, Jerry R. Will, on May 18, 1968. To this union, two children were born: Patricia L. (Will) Weddle (husband, Jeffrey) and Jerry R. Will, Jr. (wife, Lori); three grandchildren, Mitchell Weddle, fiancé, Brittney Johnson, Camryn R. Will, Jerry R. “Trey” Will, III, and one great-grandchild, Belken Weddle. Also surviving are a brother, Patrick (Thelma) Zimmerman; brothers-in-law, Rick (Diane) Will, Paul (Carla) Will; sisters-in-law, Judy (Jerry) Stewart, Joyce (Kenny) Petty and Cindy (Gary) Johnson.
Many will remember Fritzie as a long-time cake decorator. She was a faithful member of Open Heart Assembly Church of Farmington where she was actively involved in the church ministries. She was a Sunday school teacher, was involved for 32 years in children’s church, and vacation bible school; she was BGMC Director, and spent forty years helping with kid’s camp. She was missionette leader, Sunday school secretary, senior citizen coordinator, genealogy group leader, crafter, card maker, and quilt maker. Fritzie also enjoyed holidays, traveling, and especially time with her beloved family.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 29, 2025, at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5 – 8 p.m. Visitation will resume Tuesday morning at 8 a.m. until the time of the funeral service in the Cozean Chapel at 10 a.m. with Rev. Kevin Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Doe Run Memorial Cemetery. Memorials in Fritzie’s name may be made to BGMC, a program through Open Heart Assembly Church.
