Helen Turner, formerly of Farmington, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2026, at Franciscan Health Care Center in Louisville, Kentucky, at the age of 91.

She was born on April 3, 1935, in Maynard, Arkansas, to Clyde and Olivia (Caldwell) Helms.

Helen is survived by her sons, Tony (Eileen) Armsby of St. Louis, Missouri, and Timothy (Sharon) Armsby of Lenoir City, Tennessee; her stepsons, Carl (Jim) Turner of Phoenix, Arizona, and Joseph (Donna) Turner of Palmyra, Illinois; her grandchildren, Ryan (Laura) Armsby, Tracy (Tony) Happe, Lisa (Steve Bauer) Armsby, Lee Armsby, Brian Flatt, Deena (Mike) Towler, Tyler Turner, and Joseph Turner; twelve great-grandchildren; her sister, Linda Baucom of Doniphan, Missouri; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Turner; her siblings, Ishamel Helms, Virginia Spencer, James Helms, Bill Helms, and Ted Helms; and her brother-in-law, Wilburn Baucom.

Helen was a faithful Christian and a devoted member of Sunnyview Church of Christ. She found great joy in working in her yard, planting flowers, needle point watching Hallmark movies, and traveling to Branson with her beloved husband, Joe.

A visitation will be held on Monday, May 4, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. at Cozean Memorial Chapel, with Pastor Tim Glasshoff officiating. Interment will follow at Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Farmington.

Memorial donations, if desired, may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Condolences may be shared at cozeanfuneralhome.com.
