Hilda Mae Bryant

Hilda Mae Bryant (née Huber), entered eternal rest in her sleep at Quincy Place Senior Living on August 27, 2025, in Holland, Michigan at the age of 94. She was born on July 14, 1931, in Esther, Missouri, to the late Ed and Ruth Huber.

Hilda is survived by her children, Jan Glennon (Husband Tom) of Venice, FL, Cindy Dahlstrom (Husband Ken) of Tryon, NC, and Terry Bryant (Wife Carla) of Saugatuck-Douglas, MI. As well as a man who she considered her second son, Dr. Bill Johnson of Farmington, MO. Hilda is survived by nine grandchildren: Joe Glennon, Kevin Glennon, Daniel Glennon, Christie Glennon, Aubrey Lindwedel Gray, Billy Dahlstrom, Alexa Dahlstrom, Lauren Bryant Patzer, and Lisa Bryant Narduzzo; twelve great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Hilda was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 60 years, Jack T Bryant; her parents, Ed and Ruth Huber; her brothers Earl Huber and Les Huber; and her sisters, Evelyn Rigdon, Helen Stuart, Bessie Cooksey, Beaulah Carrow and Barbara Sullivan.

Hilda and Jack Bryant were lifelong residents of the Farmington, Missouri community. Hilda and Jack were passionate golf fans and members of the Saint Francois Country Club where they established a host of great friends as well as enjoyed time with other members of their family. Hilda played golf until she was 90 years old. Hilda and Jack loved their small-town roots and all the wonderful people and family members they spent their lives with. In 2024, Hilda relocated to Holland, Michigan, to be closer to her family—her son, Terry Bryant, and daughter-in-law, Carla Vacco Bryant.

A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 10 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 12:00 p.m. at Cozean Memorial Chapel. Private entombment will be held at Hillview Memorial Gardens. Share your memories and condolences at cozeanfuneralhome.com.
