Ida Bell Bell

Ida Bell Bell of Arcadia passed away on Monday, November 26, 2012, at the age of 77 years, 3 months, and 24 days. She was born on August 2, 1935, at Belleview, MO, daughter of the late Clyde Ceibert Choate and Mable Mamie (Gale) Ellis. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Floy Bell in 2001; a son, Herman Jackie Bell in 2009; and several brothers and sisters. Ida was a native of Iron County who enjoyed going to church and singing gospel music. She also enjoyed singing country music and fishing. In her spare time she was into quilting and crocheting. She was a wonderful, devoted wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her loved ones. Ida was a very outgoing person who never met a stranger. Survivors include her children, Albert Wayne Bell and fiance, Kitty Byrum and Helen Harbison and husband, Henry A.; seven grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Ruth Bell; two brothers, Charles Choate and wife, Geraldine, and Donald Choate and wife, Frances; and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. . Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel & Crematory on Thursday, November 29 from 5 to 8 p.m. Visitation will resume Friday morning beginning at 7 a.m.followed by the funeral service at 10 a.m. in the Cozean Chapel.
