Jack Brewer

Jack Harold Brewer of Terre Du Lac, Missouri, passed away on October 2, 2025, at his home at the age of 84, following a battle with cancer.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carolyn. He is survived by his children, Greg (Teresa) and Todd (Katherine); his grandchildren, Jake (Kelsey), LeeAnna (Andy), Anna, and Ryan; and his great grandchildren, Emma, Silvey, Arteus, and Artkin.

Jack was born August 8, 1941 in St. Louis, Missouri. After graduating from Ritenour High School, he joined the United States Navy before eventually returning to St. Louis to work at McDonnell Douglas. He settled in Leadwood, married his wife Carolyn, and spent most of his career working for Southwestern Bell Telephone. 

After retiring, Jack and Carolyn enjoyed a full and active life, traveling extensively and settling into the Terre Du Lac community. Jack especially loved traveling to the Gulf Coast; visiting Gulf Shores, Alabama, and making frequent trips to Pensacola Naval Air Station to watch the Blue Angels fly while reminiscing about being stationed in Pensacola during his service in the Navy. He bonded with his sons over a love for antique automobiles and could frequently be seen driving around Terre Du Lac in his Ford Model A’s. Most of all, Jack enjoyed people and walked/riding/socializing his way around Terre Du Lac on a regular basis while talking to everyone who crossed his path.
