Jack Wiles

Jack Wiles, a beloved member of the Farmington community, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2025, at the age of 96. He was born on May 2, 1928, in Malden, Missouri. 

Jack dedicated many years of his life to his career as a pipefitter and welder, serving with honor and pride as a member of Pipefitters Local 562. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, shooting pool, and hunting quail. These hobbies brought him joy and allowed him to connect with nature and friends alike.

A devoted family man, Jack leaves behind a legacy of love. He is survived by his sons, Jack Wiles and Timothy (Melissa) Wiles; his grandchildren, Jeromy Wiles, Emily Wiles, Dylan Wiles, and Katie Pogue; as well as his great-grandchildren, Caleb, Junipher, Oliver, and Isabella and his great-great-grandson, Maverick. Jack is also survived by his sisters, Doris Wells and Mary Adams, and sister-in-law, Jeanette Wiles, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends who held him dear.

Jack was predeceased by his parents, Houston and Clara (Neely) Wiles; his beloved wife of 72 years, Della "June" Wiles; and his brother, Bill Wiles. The deep love shared between Jack and June stood as a testament to their enduring partnership, which touched the lives of all who knew them.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation services on Sunday, April 6, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and again on Monday, April 7, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, at Cozean Memorial Chapel and Crematory, located at 217 West Columbia Street, Farmington, Missouri. A funeral service will follow on April 7, 2025, starting at 11:00 AM officiated by Pastor Donna Wells-Bevels and Pastor Adam Wells. Interment at Doe Run Memorial Cemetery.  Memorial donations, if desired, may be made to Shriner's Hospital for Children.

 Jack Wiles will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will continue to live on in the stories shared by his family and friends, as well as the many lives he touched throughout his long and fulfilling life.
