James "Jim" Yeager, 68, of Farmington, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly at his home on July 31, 2026. Born on October 29, 1957, in Bonne Terre, Missouri, to James Alfred and Betty Jean (Mackley) Yeager.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Pamela (Whitener) Yeager; his sons, Perry (Christina) Yeager and Eric Yeager, both of Farmington; his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Hailey, Charlie, and Andrew Yeager; his mother-in-law, Daisy Whitener of Farmington; his beloved dog, Olive Oyl; and other family members and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Betty Yeager, and his father-in-law, Homer Samuel Whitener.
Jim grew up on his family's poultry farm, was a lifetime farmer, raising hogs and then grain farming with his sons for 21 years. He graduated from Farmington High School. He worked for Williams Patent Crusher and Pulverizing Company for 27 years before purchasing Wilke's Welding, which became Yeager's Welding LLC. Some of his favorite memories came from traveling on construction jobs with his son, Eric.
