Janice Nathalie Herron

Janice Nathalie Herron, of Perryville, entered eternal rest July 21, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family at the age of 78. She was born on November 18, 1946, in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late Harry and Hilda “Jo” (Hagan) Babb.

Janice previously worked for many years as a supervisor at TG Missouri in Perryville. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville. She enjoyed traveling with her sister, sitting on her deck and sipping on a glass of good wine.

Janice is survived by her children, Tony (Cheryl) Slacer of Perryville, Amanda (Brian) Torres of Perryville, and Nichole Mitchell of Perryville, her grandchildren, Gage Slacer, Nathan Slacer, Madison Slacer, Ethan Torres, Emma Torres, Kaydence Torres, Camron Mitchell, Hayden Mitchell and Owen Mitchell, her great grandchildren, Sienna, Sawyer, and Grayson, her siblings, Barbara (Martin Marino) Cecilioni of Hamilton, Canada and Robert Babb of Vancouver, Canada, along with nieces, nephews, and many friends.

In addition to her parents, Janice was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Herron and her granddaughter, Savannah McCreary.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Ford & Young Funeral Home, 110 South West Street, Perryville, MO officiated by Deacon John Darin. Memorial donations, if desired, may be made to the family. Share your memories and condolences at cozeanfuneralhome.com
