Jewell Elyse Scott

FARMINGTON Jewell "Judy" Elyse Scott, of Farmington, entered into eternal rest on July 4, 2023, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson at the age of 82. She was born on August 2, 1940, to the late Walter Jones and Genevieve (Gilbert) Kimmel of Kilbourn, Iowa. Judy worked at the Fairfield Glove Factory and Bonaparte Glove Factory for years until her move to Scott City, Missouri. She was well known to the community. Judy is survived by her children, whom she raised in Farmington Iowa, Mike and Mary Scott, Marvin Scott, and Misty Murphy, beautiful grandchildren, Joshua Huckstep and Noah Scott, Darlene Scott, Sharlene Scott and Jessica Cannon, along with great grandchildren, Synthia, Grace, Primrose, Autumn, and Levi. She is also survived by her sister, Linda Griggs of Crescent Springs, KY and two nieces, Tammy Armstrong and Candice Hootman and their children and a nephew, Anthony Griggs.
