Joseph G. Crump of Farmington passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2008 at the age of 56 years. He was born Monday, December 31, 1951, in Bonne Terre, son of Delbert L. Crump and the late Helen M. (Wallace) Crump. Mr. Crump was presently employed as a Detective Sgt. for the St. Francois County Sheriff's Department and also worked for many years for the Missouri State Highway Patrol, where he worked in overt and covert narcotics operations. He was an avid Harley Davidson rider. He was also a Black Sheep and an Unforgiven LHs. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him and that includes his wife, Rochelle Shelly (Lines) Crump, his father, Delbert L. Crump of Bonne Terre, a daughter, Allison Alli Crump of the home, two sons, Scott Crump and Ryan Crump both of Paris, TX, two brothers, Clif Crump (Debbie) of Farmington and Jamie Crump (Lori) of Desloge, and a sister, Julie Yarbrough (Dave) of Bonne Terre. Numerous other relatives and many cherished friends also survive. The family will receive friends at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 4 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, May 21, 2008. Visitation will resume at 7 a.m. on Thursday. A funeral service will be held at the Memorial United Methodist Church of Farmington on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with Dr. Rick Broadway officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
