Joyce Marilyn Hogan, of St. Charles, Missouri, entered eternal rest on February 14, 2026, at Mercy Hospital St. Louis at the age of 90. She was born on December 16, 1935, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Leslie and Lillian (Beaujean) Burnau. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Leslie (the late Ann) Burnau Jr., Carol (the late Don) Williams, and Ronald Burnau.
Joyce is lovingly survived by her children: Gail (Robbie) Sanders, Cindy (Fred) Wolf, William “Bill” (Kim) Fleischauer, and Sheila Hogan. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Jennifer, Scott, Ryan, Shawn, Hannah, Andrew, William Jr., Leah, Alex, Cassandra, and Emily; many great-grandchildren; along with nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Joyce formerly worked as a telephone operator at Southwestern Bell. She was a woman of strong faith who faithfully attended church until her health no longer allowed her to do so. Joyce found joy in life’s simple pleasures—watching Wheel of Fortune, relaxing in her rocking chair, enjoying Dairy Queen chicken baskets and chocolate—but above all, she treasured time spent with her family.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. at Cozean Memorial Chapel, with Pastor Fred Killian officiating. Interment will follow at Silver Point Union Cemetery in Womack.
