Kevin Dale Hopkins, of Bonne Terre, passed away on July 5, 2026, at Mercy Hospital South at the age of 61. He was born on June 17, 1965, in Farmington, Missouri, to John and Wanda (Henson) Hopkins.

Kevin is survived by his fiancée, Kimberly Evans, and her children, Anthony (Zane Johnson) Nettles and Breanna Eckhoff; his siblings, Rickie (Joyce) Hopkins of Houston, Texas, Larry Hopkins of Doe Run, and Sue (Newt) Kernan of Oxford, Georgia; his grandsons, Liam Dicus and Ruger Courtway; his special nephew and business partner, Mike Weber Jr.; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 30 years, Rhonda (Webers) Hopkins, and his brother, Steve Hopkins.

Kevin will be forever missed and fondly remembered for having the biggest heart and a wonderful sense of humor. A gifted storyteller and the life of the party, he brought joy wherever he went. He enjoyed camping, hunting, playing poker, and listening to music. Above all, he loved his family, adored his grandsons, and shared a special bond with his sister, Sue.

Kevin was the owner of Express Pawn and Gun, with locations in Farmington, Potosi, and Sullivan.

A visitation will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cozean Memorial Chapel. Visitation will resume on Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. in the Cozean Chapel, officiated by Pastor Tim Morgan. Interment will follow at Doe Run Memorial Cemetery.
