FARMINGTON Lillian Emma Ida Ridenhour, nee Riske, of Farmington, passed away in her home surrounded by her loving family on January 31, 2017 at the age of 95. She was born December 6, 1921 at Sullivan, Missouri to Herman and Louise (Peters) Riske. She was united in marriage to her beloved husband, O. C. Jack Ridenhour on August 16, 1941. He preceded her in death in 2001. Also preceding her in death were two sisters, Evelyn Mesger and Mabel Hardecke.
Lillians passion was taking care of her husband and three daughters. She took pleasure in caring for her home, gardening and quilting. Her grandchildren were a great source of love and joy in her life. Proverbs 31:28 "Her children arise up and call her blessed". Lillian was a member of the Farmington Assembly of God church and was a devoted Christian who loved her family and her God.
Survivors are her three daughters, Mitzi Heady of Farmington, Janet McKay and husband, Darrell of High Ridge, MO and Linda Ridenhour of Farmington; four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel on Friday morning, February 3, 2017 beginning at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. with Reverend Kevin Davis officiating; Burial will follow in the afternoon at 2 p.m. at Schmidt Cemetery near Sullivan.
