Linnie Belle Warden

Linnie "Belle" Warden KNOB LICK Linnie "Belle" Warden, nee White, age 85, of Granite City, IL, passed away July 20, 2018 at her home in Granite City, IL. She was born in Howard County, MO, daughter of the late Floyd and Marjorie (Wells) White on December 30, 1932. On March 23, 1951, Belle married Charles Warden, who preceded her in death in 2003. She enjoyed various craft hobbies and had a love of collecting recipes. She was preceded in death by her father, Floyd White in 1974, her mother Marjorie (Wells) White, in 1986. Also preceding her in death was her brother, Richard White, her sisters, Adeline Churchill and Bonnie Conrad. She is survived by her sons, Joe (Sandy) Warden and Brian (Cindy) Warden, a daughter, Marjorie (Charco) Warden-Vantreece. Belle is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She is alo survived by a brother, Otis (Pauletta) White and sisters, Louise Asher and Dorothy Fleischmann. Friends may call on Wednesday, July 25 from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Cozean Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens.
