Louise Wieland of Farmington entered eternal rest on February 8, 2026, at her home, at the age of 96. She was born on November 26, 1929, in East St. Louis, Illinois, to John and Josephine (Wenzel) Warhover.
Louise is survived by her children: Patrick (Debbie) Wieland, Mark (Lynn) Wieland, Matthew Wieland, Christine Booth, and John Wieland; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her daughter-in-law, Rita Wieland; as well as many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George “Jim” Wieland; her son, Michael Wieland; her siblings, John Warhover, Paul Warhover, Ray Warhover, Lawrence Warhover, Eugene Warhover, Alice White, and Rosemary Prongie; and her son-in-law, Douglas Booth.
Louise worked for many years as a registered nurse at hospitals throughout the St. Louis area, dedicating her life to caring for others. She was a faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a member of the American Legion Post #416 of Farmington. Louise was also a Master Gardener, very artistic and had many hobbies and interests.
A visitation will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Gerson Parra as celebrant. Interment to follow at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Memorial donations, if desired, may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or to the American Legion Post 416 of Farmington.
