Marion "Sonny" E. Hammers III

Marion “Sonny” E. Hammers III, of Park Hills, entered eternal rest on April 21, 2025, at Mercy South at the age of 70. He was born on December 9, 1954, in Farmington to the late Marion E. Hammers Jr. and Dazie (Clanin) Hammers.

Sonny is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Judy (Horn) Hammers, his children, Elizabeth (Jeremy) Bobbett of Valles Mines, Sarah (Eddie) Garza of Leadwood and Ryan (Sarah) Hammers of Park Hills, his grandchildren, Kailyn (Steven) Dowell, Joshua Hammers, Jacob Garza, Aslee Garza, Alexander Garza, Ronnell Jones, Jensen Shafer, Hendrix Shafer, Iris Hammers, Ryatt Hammers, and Duncan Comstock, his great grandchildren, Noah, Eli, and Ava, and his canine companions, Daisy May and Bella.

Sonny served his country in the United States Navy. He went on to work in residential construction for many years. He enjoyed shooting guns, working on cars, riding his Harley, fishing, shooting pool but most of all loved his grandchildren. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
