Marsha Lynn Storie BONNE TERRE Marsha Lynn Storie of Bonne Terre, MO passed away July 15, 2018 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 20, 1952, in Frankclay, MO daughter of the late Marcus and Lela (Barton) McCarron. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Michael McCarron, Norma Stivers, Lindell "Shorty" McCarron, Gwen Flatt, and Katherine Spier. Before retiring, Marsha worked 26 years at Flat River Glass. In her spare time, Marsha enjoyed crocheting, preparing meals for numerous holiday events, spending time with her family, shopping at Walmart and Dollar stores, camping, traveling, watching and feeding her hummingbirds, and most of all fishing. She would out fish anyone known to man. She will always be remembered for having many words of wisdom and comfort, her sense of humor, giving the tightest hugs and lighting up any room with her presence. In earlier years, when she wasn't out fishing, she was frequently changing out home dcor always trying to make her house the best home possible. All the while maintaining one of the largest collections of shoes, swimsuits, and most of all purses. Marsha was united in marriage on June 4, 1971 to Ronnie J. Storie and they were the very first couple married at the outdoor gazebo chapel in Columbia Park in Park Hills, MO. In addition to her husband, she is also survived by her son, Mark Storie and his partner Brandon Pounds of Forth Worth, TX; her daughter, Rhonda Storie of Bonne Terre, MO; her brother, Bob, and wife Judy Koch of St. Charles, MO; her three grandchildren, Kaleb, Lexi, and Gracie; her three fur grandbabies, Chloe, Bitsy, and Peyton Puss; a loving aunt, Ruth Ann (Mrs. Chuck) Benoist of Bonne Terre, MO; two special friends, Lilly Kell and Rose Kelly both of Bismarck, MO; by several nieces and nephews who she treated as her own kids; and by numerous cousins and friends. Friends may call on Saturday, July 21 at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 11 a.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. with the Reverend Mike Barton officiating.
