Mary Ellen Lee

FARMINGTON Mary Ellen Lee, friend to all and life-long resident of Farmington, died on June 22, 2021 at St. Joe Manor after a brief but brave battle against lung cancer. Mary is survived by her siblings, Cheryl "Diane" Blevins, Rita Lee and Stephen Lee; her nieces and nephews, Larraine Robinson, Kevin Ammonette, Tonia Laurine, Michael Mosby, Cara "Tootie" Blevins, Desire Simily, Detrick Hulvey, and Riordan Wells; her great nieces and nephews, her dear friends Ange Ammonette, Nancy Sohn, Irene Winkelman, May Grissum, Tanya Abdallah and Robin Gipson; and her very special great niece McKinsey Ammonette. Mary is predeceased by her parents, Rosie and Howard "Cobb" Lee; her son, Jordan Lee Shepard; her siblings, Larry Johnson, Melvin Lee and Patricia Ammonette; her nephew, Adrian Blevins and niece, Sharon Ammonette; and loving friend, Evelyn "Kay" Bay. Mary was born in Farmington, Missouri to Rosie and Howard "Cobb" Lee on September 21, 1960. She was a devoted friend and collector of many things who had a heart of gold and a beautiful soul. Mary and her boisterous laugh will be deeply missed by her friends, family and all who knew her. A celebration of life is scheduled at 5 p.m. on June 27, 2021 at the Church of Nazarene located on North Middle Street ini Farmington, Missouri.
