Mary Lee Hibbits, born on July 14, 1938, passed away, surrounded by her family, after a long illness on March 24, 2026, at Missouri Baptist Medical Center at the age of 87.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Ronald Hibbits; her son, Steven Hibbits; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Womack; and her in-laws, Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Hibbits.

She is survived by her children, Rhonda Hibbits, Laura Hibbits-West, and Scott Hibbits (Davelyne); her brother-in-law, Darrell Hibbits (Judy); her grandchildren, Zach Hibbits (Andrea), Halle Hibbits (Gabe), and Sam Effrein (Jill); and her great-grandchildren, Raymond Scott Hibbits, and Jacob and David Chavez.

Mary Lee was employed by Ozarks Federal Savings and Loan for 34 years. She served on the boards of the Missouri League of Savings and Loan, the Farmington Public Library, the Farmington Education Foundation, and the St. Francois Country Club.

Mary Lee loved her home, cooking for her family, enjoying morning coffee on the patio, playing cards with friends, and, when she was able, singing in the First Baptist Church choir, where she had been a member since her teenage years.

A visitation will be held at Cozean Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. officiated by Pastor Greg Robinson. A private interment will be held at Hillview Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations, if desired, may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, Farmington Education Fund, or Help The Hungry.
