Michael A. Walker

FARMINGTON – Michael A. Walker, of Farmington, passed away unexpectedly on March 5, 2025, at the Anna Dodson Home in Farmington at the age of 66. He was born on April 14, 1958, in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late Joan (Black) Taylor.

He is survived by his son, Brandon Walker; and his siblings, Charles David Taylor, Debbie (Bill) Campbell, and June Nenninger. He was preceded in death by his mother, Joan (Black) Taylor; his sister, Vicky Taylor; his brother, Raymond Taylor; and his aunt and uncle, Barbara and Allen Taylor.

Michael worked for 29 years as a truck driver for Consolidated Freightways before they went out of business in 2002. Michael's work ethic was remarkable; he began working at just 12 years old, earning his first lawn mower by shoveling snow for his neighbors. Michael was an avid sports fan and had a had a particular passion for the St. Louis Cardinals.
