Nicholas John Courtney

FARMINGTON Nicholas John Courtney of Farmington passed away July 9, 2018, in Ste. Genevieve County, Missouri at the age of 41. He was born December 11, 1976 in Whittier, California to Belinda Bivens and Lee Gregory Courtney. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Flora Courtney, his grandfathers, S.L. Bivens, Martin Pickett and Lee Courtney, his sisters, Mary Hahn and Juanita Mece Hahn and special cousin, Davey Hahn. Nick was very proud of his career as a journeyman drywaller. He loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, shooting skeet, hiking with his children and being on the river with his dog. He was a NASCAR fan. He loved the Lord, his family and adored his children and enjoyed going to their activities. Survivors include his mother, Belinda Bivens, fathers, Roger Hahn and Lee Courtney, his children, Jonathan, Madelynn, Katelynn, Ashelynn and Brooklynn Courtney all of Farmington, his siblings, Jason (Gabby) Harrington of Farmington, Robert (Jody) Hahn of Farmington, Shawna (Jason) Henson of Farmington, Michael (Hillary) Hahn of Farmington, Tiphanie (Jason) Gurwell of Bentonville, AR, Bill Luce of Farmington, Tim Hahn of St. Louis, Tammy (Chuck) Bloodworth of Farmington, Ray Hahn of Steelville, Rogie (Norma) Hahn of Steelville, Ronald (Sara) MacCubbin of Cape Girardeau, Phoebe Hahn of Park Hills and Tanya (Glenn) Long of Farmington, grandmother, Marie Pickett Lusk of Longview, TX, a special friend (his ride or die canine companion) Luna, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Friends may call on Friday, July 13 at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 9 a.m. until time of service at 12 p.m. Interment will follow at Chestnut Ridge Cemetery.
