Listen to Obituary

Pauletta (Usher) White went to be with Jesus on September 22, 2025. She was born in Bismarck, Missouri, on January 20, 1947, to Milton and Lena Usher. She was a devoted wife, a wonderful mother, and a loving grandmother; but above all, she was a beautiful child of God.

Pauletta married Otis White on October 25, 1964, an exemplary marriage that endured nearly 61 years. She was a packaging operator at Sigma Chemical, from where she retired in 2001. Post-retirement, her husband built her dream home on their farm in Farmington. She loved making meals for her family; she went above and beyond for every holiday celebration. These were her favorite times, surrounded by family. She treasured every second she had with her grandchildren. She loved her husband so very much. She hung family photos throughout her home with great pride. She was a beautiful mother and friend to many. She was loved by all who knew her, and there will be a great void in their hearts. She truly loved Jesus. She cared about those who didn’t know Him and shared the Gospel with them. She was faithfully involved in her church, Blessed Hope Baptist Church. She was blessed with many trips to admire God’s creation. She cherished souvenirs and collectibles to remember her love-filled and memorable life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Lena Usher; her brother, Larry Usher; and her sister, Leann Quigley.

She is survived by her husband: Otis White of Farmington; her brother, Paul Vernon Usher of Bismarck; her daughters: Teresa McKenna of Chicago, and Natalie (Steve) Christensen of De Soto; six grandchildren: Jared (Iris) Berry, Dustin (Mandy) Berry, Barret (Abbi) Christensen, Casey McKenna, Colin Christensen, and Seth Christensen; and six great grandchildren. Pauletta is now in heaven walking with Jesus.
