Phyllis Kluver, of Farmington, Missouri, entered eternal rest on October 4, 2025, at Presbyterian Manor at the age of 86. She was born on January 24, 1939, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Gerhardt and Erna (Schmidt) Bertram.
She is survived by her children, Carri Davis (James) and Jennette Tracy (Michael); her grandchildren, Niccole Peckham, Samuel Miller (Gina), Kyle Davis, Caleb Tracy (Courtney), and Elizabeth Tracy; her great-grandchildren, Bintou Richardson, Tania Richardson, Lavontay Richardson, Ian Miller, Brandon Blankenship, Jayden Miller, and Abby Jo Miller; her brothers, Gary Bertram (Jennie) and Dale “Topper” Bertram (Kim); and her sister, Celeste Doerr (Bob); as well as many nieces, nephews, and special friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Kenneth Kluver; and her brother, Paul Bertram (Myra).
Phyllis was a devoted member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Farmington. She was also a proud member of Farmington VFW Post 5896 and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Phyllis honorably served her country in the Women’s Army Corps as an Army medic, where she found the love of her life, Kenneth.
She had many talents and hobbies, including crocheting, seamstress work, building miniature house replicas, reading, poetry, oil painting, gardening, and playing cribbage with her husband. She was also one of the founding members of the AKC Shetland Sheepdog Association of Albuquerque.
A visitation will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at Cozean Memorial Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Farmington officiated by Pastor David Schmitt. Phyllis will be laid to rest next to her husband at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery.
