Ray Hull, of Farmington, passed peacefully into eternal rest on December 20, 2025, at Parkland Health Center at the age of 66. Ray was born on March 1, 1959, in Bonne Terre, Missouri, to Edward and Geraldine (Newburger) Hull, who preceded him in death.
Ray shared 47 wonderful years of marriage with the love of his life, Becky (Knox) Hull. Together they built a strong, close-knit family that was the center of Ray’s world. He was a proud and devoted father to Eric (Melissa) Hull, Mindy (Dustin) Wyatt, Rodney (Sheena) Hull, Kerrie (Tyler Tucker) Hull, and Shelby (Sebastian) Thomure. Nothing brought Ray more joy than his grandchildren—Alyssa, Erika, Josh, Hayden, Trent, Bryce, Larissa, Remmie, Carson, Aubrey, Lucas, Daniel, and Savannah—who were the light of his life.
Ray is also survived by his siblings, Alan Hull, Kevin Hull, and Hilda (Roy) Bellew; his sister-in-law, Jane Hull; his special brother, Darrell Knox; along with many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family members, dear friends, and his canine companion, Trouble.
In addition to his parents, Ray was preceded in death by his brothers, Eddie Hull and Rick Hull; his mother- and father-in-law, Vernon and Barbara Knox; his nephew, Justin Knox; his niece, Jami Marler; an infant nephew, Ryan Knox; his sister-in-law, Lisa Hull; and his beloved dog, Girl.
Ray was a master carpenter and the proud owner of Hulls Trimwork. Known for his strong work ethic, attention to detail, and pride in his craft, Ray left his mark on countless homes and projects. He was a member of the Farmington Elks Lodge #1765 and valued the friendships and camaraderie he found there.
A true outdoorsman, Ray loved hunting, fishing, and mushroom hunting. He enjoyed attending car shows, especially when he could show off his cherished old truck. At home, Ray could often be found grilling, enjoying a cold beer, and singing karaoke—always surrounded by laughter and family. Above all else, Ray loved spending time with those he cared about, creating memories that will be treasured forever.
